For our eleventh year, we’ve developed a new format with a weekend filled with events, experiences, cooking schools, master classes and demonstrations all featuring “A Little Bit of Italy.”
You’ll meet Hunter Valley growers, makers and chefs; sample premium wines with traditional Hunter Valley varietals, alongside Italian varietals; relax amongst the vines and olive groves enjoying Italian entertainment and games; and over indulge with wood-fired pizza, porchetta, antipasto, Italian cheeses, gelato and espresso.
We’re introducing an Italian Village Dinner, at Catherine Vale the vineyard where “A Little Bit of Italy in Broke” began; this will be Italian banquet prepared and cooked in front of your eyes by the team from The Cellar Restaurant, paired with local Italian wines and hosted by the local growers. Located in the historical town of Gulgong in the Central West of NSW, the traditional Gulgong Folk Festival has been known for 30 years as the best small Festival in the West. It is about 4 hours away from Sydney, close to Mudgee, Dubbo, Coonabarabran, Bathurst, Orange, Rylstone and Tamworth and is well worth the drive over the Christmas – New Year break. See BARE Natures'sKin at the markets held on the 1st and 2nd of January in coronation park, Gulgong. www.guglongfolkfestival.net.au
The Impossible is a brave, fresh and exciting new monthly Sunday night shopping experience taking up residence at The Edwards. The first Market Night will launch with 20 pop-up shops, music, food, drinks, friends and photo booth fun.
From there on, each month will be themed - our Spring Market will be all about florals, soft scents and pastel shades; the Movemeber Market will showcase earthy and eco wood, leather, metal and natural luxuries; and in December we’ll have your Christmas gifts sorted with a cool mix up of items so good you’ll want to keep them for yourself. http://www.theimpossiblemarket.com/about/
